Administrative law

The administrative law governs the relationship between the state and its citizens. This may concern the functioning of public institutions, but also relates to the protection of each citizen against the state’s influence. The administrative law is a complex field of law and comprises topics like university and examination law, construction law, environmental and energy law or the law on protection of monuments. We advice and represent towns and communities as well as companies and private individuals on the full spectrum of topics of administrative law services.

  • Public construction law, in particular the advice for and representation of towns and communities as well as companies and private individuals in the realisation of project plannings or the achievement of a construction permit for an individual construction project
  • Representation in proceedings instituted by neighbours against a construction project or in the context of the execution of a construction project (law concerning the respective interest of neighbours, building regulations and protection of monuments)
  • Advice on and representation in planning and departmental planning (development plan, land consolidation, road law related questions, urban development)
  • Advice on and representation in urban redevelopment and development measures, in matters of environmental law (protection against harmful effects on the environment, waist and water law, danger as waist accumulated over the years, nature protection) and in matters of community law
  • Local rates, development charges, municipal economic law
